I’m so grateful to call Kauai home for some obvious reasons like how beautiful it is and the beaches, and maybe not so many obvious reasons like the culture, the people, THE FOOD, laid-back lifestyle, and the close-knit community.

If I’m not third-wheeling or in my editing cave, I’m usually with my husband and our baby Dachshund, Snickers, at the beach getting toasty, eating at our favorite local spots on the island, singing and dancing our hearts out with friends and family, dying at the gym, adventuring or taking a stroll up mauka, watching the sunset, or simply staying at home binge-watching our favorite shows or movies together. Basically just going with the flow and having fun! How bout you?

Kinda sassy, kinda weird, kinda goofy. Your typical or atypical 90's brown-eyed dog dad and hubby loving and living on the Garden Isle of Hawaii.

not delcyn or decklyn, but delcynn.

I’m Delcynn (del-sinn).

I’m stoked you wanna get to know me a little more, and potentially become new friends *crossing my fingers*

aloha!

Before my husband and I were married, and before we were even dating, we actually went to the same high school together and never spoke a word to one another. While in high school, he was actually a teacher’s assistant in my biology class and he specifically remembers always grading my paperwork.

A few years go by and, after graduating, we officially met on Valentine’s Day through a mutual friend with no intention of talking or dating. From there we became really good friends and hung out almost every day of the week.

eventually, as time went by, one thing led to another and we started dating, then years later we got married and here we are today!

sometimes you just have to stop looking and the love of your life will come to you! hahaha.

love is aloha

I love dogs, especially Dachshunds. I actually have a weak spot for all animals, but somehow I’m not vegan.

before i became a photographer, i was actually going to school to become a nurse, but along the road, i realized i was doing it for all the wrong reasons.

if you give me enough drinks at your wedding, i just might break it down on the dance floor.

my favorite color is terracotta.

no, i don’t surf, but maybe one day i’ll learn because they always say, “it’s never too late to try,” right?
